Akutes Abdomen – ein interdisziplinärer Notfall

Der Begriff „akutes Abdomen“ ist keine Diagnose, sondern lediglich die kürzeste Umschreibung eines klinischen Zustands. Davon abzugrenzen sind Erkrankungen, die zwar häufig zu akuten Bauchschmerzen führen, aber kein „akutes Abdomen“ sind. Viele Erkrankungen, die ein akutes Abdomen auslösen, sind häufig lebensbedrohlich. Daher ist es wichtig, die Symptome und klinischen Befunde schnell und sicher zu interpretieren, um eine schnelle und präzise Diagnostik durchzuführen [1].
