Jeremie Jacques et al. Endoscopic ultrasound-guided choledochoduodenostomy with electrocautery-enhanced lumen-apposing stents: a retrospective analysis
Study evaluating outcomes of endoscopic ultrasound-guided choledochoduodenostomy using an electrocautery-enhanced lumen-apposing metal stent in 52 patients with distal malignant biliary obstruction. It was found that the procedure was technically and clinically highly successful (88.5 % and 100 %, respectively), with a low adverse event rate of 3.8 %.
