Zusammenfassung
Der Begriff „Rückenschmerzen“ wird mit mehr als 65 Diagnosen in Verbindung gebracht. Entsprechend ist klar, dass es nicht „die“ Therapie für das Volksleiden Nummer 1 geben kann. Jeder Fall muss individuell evaluiert werden, um entsprechend einer fundierten Diagnose die richtige Therapie in die Wege zu leiten. Eine OP kommt bei Rückenschmerzpatienten nur relativ selten infrage.
Summary
The term “back pain” is associated with more than 65 diagnoses. Accordingly, it is clear that there can not be “the” treatment for the public disease number 1. Each case has to be individually evaluated in order to initiate the right therapy according to a well-founded diagnosis. Surgery is rarely used in back pain patients.
