Study examining outcomes of multiple plastic stenting of pancreatic duct strictures in the setting of chronic pancreatitis in 48 patients. The median number of inserted stents was 3, and 74.4 % (32/43) remained asymptomatic over a mean follow-up period of 9.5 years after the stents were removed.
