Xiaoquan Huang et al. Endoscopic treatment of gastroesophageal variceal bleeding after oxaliplatin-based chemotherapy in patients with colorectal cancer
Endoscopic therapy for gastroesophageal variceal bleeding was evaluated in patients with oxaliplatin-induced portal hypertension compared with that related to hepatitis B cirrhosis. The oxaliplatin group had a significantly higher risk of rebleeding after endoscopic therapy of bleeding varices and may require further interventions to prevent rebleeding.
