The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the gastrointestinal endoscopy activity in
France was evaluated using a web-based survey. In this study, it was found that almost
all endoscopists (98.7 %) had had to cancel procedures and more than 1 in 10 gastroenterologists
(12.8 %) reported symptoms compatible with COVID-19 infection.
