Ken Namikawa et al. Artificial intelligence-based diagnostic system classifying gastric cancers and ulcers: comparison between the original and newly developed systems
This new and improved artificial intelligence model is a 2.0 version of a previous convolutional neural network model, enriched by additional gastric ulcer images. Internal validation showed improved test characteristics to predict gastric cancers and ulcers (sensitivity, specificity, and positive predictive values > 90 %).
