Statement 1

Die Aufklärung über das Risiko des Fertilitätsverlusts und die Möglichkeiten der/des Fertilitätsprotektion/-erhalts soll ein fixer Bestandteil der onkologischen Behandlung sein. Aufklärung und Beratung sollen unter Berücksichtigung der folgenden Punkte erfolgen:

  • eine interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit der beteiligten Fachdisziplinen,

  • eine psychologische Begleitung bei der Entscheidungsfindung,

  • eine frühzeitige Beratung über fertilitätsprotektive Maßnahmen, um die onkologische Therapie nicht zu verzögern.
