68Ga-PSMA Uptake in Pulmonary Tuberculosis: A Pitfall in Prostate Cancer PET Imaging
68Ga-PSMA-Aufnahme bei Lungentuberkulose: Ein Fallstrick in der Prostatakrebs-PET-Bildgebung
Introduction
68Ga-PSMA ligand PET/CT is a novel imaging modality for prostate cancer. Nevertheless, PSMA expression has been detected in various solid tumors including lung adenocarcinoma. It is not rare for prostate cancer to metastasize to the lung, and it is difficult to differentiate primary lung lesions from metastatic prostate cancer to the lung, especially when there is a focal PSMA uptake in the lung lesion [1]. Here we report a case of prostate cancer with intensive PSMA expression in pulmonary tuberculosis.
