Die nichtalkoholische Steatohepatitis (NASH) ist mit einer erhöhten Morbidität und Mortalität verbunden. Die Behandlungsmöglichkeiten sind bislang allerdings begrenzt. In einer placebokontrollierten Phase-II-Studie wurden Wirksamkeit und Sicherheit des Glucagon-ähnlichen Peptid-1-Rezeptoragonisten (GLP-1-RA) Semaglutid bei NASH-Patienten untersucht.
