Schmerz und Depression
Wie der sinnbildliche Januskopf treten Depression und Schmerz häufig gemeinsam auf. Zumeist ist diese Koinzidenz kein Zufall. Klinische Beobachtungen legen nahe, dass sich beide Störungen gegenseitig verstärken und teils gemeinsame pathophysiologische Wurzeln haben. Interessanterweise unterscheidet sich die pharmakologische Behandlung.
