Linjie Guo et al. Endoscopic transcecal appendectomy: a new endotherapy for appendiceal orifice lesions
Minimally invasive approaches for resection of appendiceal lesions are appealing as they may reduce operative morbidity. This small, single-center, single-operator, retrospective study demonstrated that endoscopic appendicectomy is feasible, with high technical success rates in expert hands. Further prospective studies are required to ensure that it is a safe and appropriate approach.
