A palladium-catalyzed asymmetric Suzuki–Miyaura coupling is described with a unique monophosphine ligand, Azaphos. This method provides a new ligand framework that could be used in asymmetric Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reactions to prepare the axially chiral compounds.
