Plazentaphysiologie: Das Atemabkommen zwischen Mutter und Kind

Die Plazenta ist der Umschlagplatz für Sauer- und Kohlenstoff zwischen Mutter und Kind. Verschiedene Faktoren können die Plazentaphysiologie oder ihre Funktion beeinträchtigen und auf diese Weise den Gasaustausch stören. Sie zu kennen, erleichtert es Hebammen, das Wohlbefinden und Kompensationsmechanismen des Kindes während der Geburt differenzierter zu beurteilen.
