Kind und Plazenta als Einheit, die sich von selbst voneinander lösen soll – im deutschsprachigen Raum gibt es wenige Eltern, die sich das wünschen. Was ihre Motivation ist, ob dahinter auch wissenschaftlich belegte Vorteile für Mutter und Kind stecken oder ob dieser esoterische Ansatz im Kreissaal nur fehlplatziert ist, beleuchtet dieser Artikel.
