Summary
Transabdominal amniocentesis and occasionally fetoscopy are used as a means of early diagnosis of fetal damage or abnormality after the 14th week of pregnancy. For medical reasons a still earlier method of diagnosis is desirable. We report about the transcervical approach- using CO2-gas-hysteroscopy to visualize the amnion sac and its contents.
Zusammenfassung
Die transabdominale Amniozentese und zum Teil auch schon die Fötoskopie sind Methoden der Früherkennung kindlicher Schädigung ab der 14. Schwangerschaftswoche. Eine noch frühzeitigere Diagnostik ist aus medizinischen Gründen wünschenswert. Es wird über den transzervikalen Zugang unter Benutzung der CO2-Hysteroskopie zur Darstellung des Fruchtsackes und seines Inhaltes berichtet.
