Summary
Intraoperative fibercholangioscopy allows direct inspection of the entire biliary tree up to the secondary distributaries. In 100 patients with suspected biliary tract pathology on account of endoscopic retrograde cholangiography the following findings were obtained: choledocholithiasis (solitary or multiple) in 66, biliary mud in 4, strictures in 15, common bile duct carcinoma in 8, choledochal cyst in 1 and extrinsic lesions in 6. Peroral direct transpapillary cholangioscopy is still in an experimental stage but its results are promising.
Zusammenfassung
Die intraoperative Fibercholangioskopie erlaubt eine direkte Inspektion der Gallengänge bis in die intrahepatischen Aufzweigungen. Bei 100 Patienten mit pathologischem Befund bei der retrograden Cholangiographie wurden cholangioskopisch und gegebenenfalls bioptisch die folgenden Befunde erhoben: solitäre oder multiple Gallengangskonkremente bei 66, Gallenschlamm bzw. Inkrustierung der Gallengangswand bei 4, entzündliche oder postoperative Strikturen bei 15, Gallengangskarzinome bei 8, eine Gallengangszyste bei 1 und extraluminale Raumforderungen bei 6 Patienten. Die perorale direkte Cholangioskopie befindet sich noch im Experimentierstadium, die Ergebnisse sind jedoch erfolgversprechend.
