Abstract

A new method for converting 1,2,3,5,6,10b-hexahydropyrrolo[2,1-a]isoquinolines into 5,6-dihydropyrrolo[2,1-a]isoquinolines by the use of N-bromosuccinimide as an oxidant is presented.
