Abstract

Three new glycosides, 1,4,8-trihydroxynaphthalene- 1-O-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→6)-β-D D-xylopyranoside (1), 1,4,8-trihydroxynaphthalene-1-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→6)-α-L-arabinopyranoside (2), 1-hydroxy-4-methoxynaphthalene-1-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→6)-α-L-rhamnopyranoside (3), were isolated from the roots of Juglans mandshurica and their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic studies.
