Der osteochondrale Ersatz der Fossa lunata bei der Entfernung der proximalen Handwurzelreihe im frühen Stadium IV der Lunatumnekrose

Zusammenfassung

Bei zwei jungen Frauen mit einer Lunatumnekrose wurde ein osteochondrales Transplantat aus dem Os scaphoideum in die Fossa lunata (Stadium IV nach Lichtman) eingesetzt, um noch eine PRC (=proximal row carpectomy) ausführen zu können. Der postoperative Verlauf und die Ergebnisse dieser beiden Patientinnen unterschieden sich bisher nicht von den Resultaten der Patienten mit einem Morbus Kienböck und einer PRC im Stadium III. Diese Technik wird als Erweiterung der Rettungsoperationen am Handgelenk vorgeschlagen.

Abstract

An osteochondral transfer of a scaphoid segment into the lunate fossa in proximal row carpectomy was performed in two female patients in stage IV of Kienböck's disease. Clinical and radiological follow-up at 18 and 6 months, respectively, showed results comparable to those of PRC in Lichtman stage III. This technique may serve as another option for salvage operations on the wrist.
