Abstract

A mild and efficient method for the synthesis of pyrido[3,2-d]pyrimidine derivatives via three-component domino reaction of amines, aldehydes, and terminal unactivated alkynes is described using BF3˙OEt2 as Lewis acid catalyst in one pot. The features of this procedure are mild reaction conditions, good to high yields, and shorter reaction time with operational simplicity.
