Summary

In this article the interlocking ideas of using animal sourced remedies, animistic religions, and species extinction are examined. It postulates that the energy patterns (spirit) of those beings that are becoming extinct might transfer to human carriers.

Misha Norland studied science while indulging a fascination for psychology and Eastern mysticism, but went on to live “another life” as a film maker in London and Hollywood until 1971, when fatherhood and homeopathy found him. He is a Fellow and a founding member of The Society of Homeopaths in the UK, and was the first editor of its journal. He cut his educational teeth running home study groups, while later he was Head of Homeopathic Research at the College of Homeopathy in London. He moved to Devon with his family, setting up the School of Homeopathy in 1981. He has written three homeopathy books and authored a four-year homeopathy course that has graduated thousands of practitioners internationally. Over the years he has contributed to many journals in various countries. He has taught widely both in the UK and abroad. He has undertaken many homeopathic provings, publishing new remedies annually since the early '90s. He is course leader at The School of Homeopathy, and also facilitates regular clinical workshops in North America. Of course he has his own private practice, which he will take to his grave!
