Benigner paroxysmaler Lagerungsschwindel (BPLS)

Zusammenfassung

Mit einer Prävalenz von ca. 19 % ist der benigne paroxysmale Lagerungsschwindel (BPLS) die am häufigsten auftretende Schwindelart. Dieser Artikel liefert eine praktikable Gebrauchsanweisung zur Identifikation und Behandlung eines BPLS des hinteren Bogengangs, mit der auch weniger erfahrene Therapeuten erfolgreich agieren können.

Abstract

Benign paroxysmal postural vertigo is the most common type of vertigo with a prevalence of about 19 %. This article describes practical instructions for the identification and treatment of benign paroxysmal postural vertigo from the posterior arcade which can be successfully used by less experienced therapists.
