Moderne CAD/CAM-Systeme ermöglichen die Herstellung von adhäsiv zu befestigenden Verbindungselementen aus Zirkoniumdioxid für die Kombinationsprothetik. Neben der Herstellung von Doppelkronen sind auch intrakoronale Rillen-Schulter-Stift-Geschiebe und extrakoronale Stabgeschiebe technisch realisierbar. Ihre Vorteile gegenüber konventionellen Verbindungselementen aus EMF-Legierungen sind stark indikationsabhängig. Der vorliegende Patientenfall beschreibt die Überlegungen zur Planung der Verbindungselemente und ihre zahnärztliche und zahntechnische Anwendung.
Modern Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing-systems allow the manufacturing of attachments for removable partial dentures from zirconia. Double-crowns, intracoronal parallel attachments and extracoronal precision attachments can be fabricated. The advantages to base-metal alloy attachments depend on the individual situation. The following clinical case demonstrates the considerations to planning an attachment and shows its dental and dental laboratory application.
