Zusammenfassung
Auf Basis des Mikrozensus 2009 wird untersucht, inwiefern das gleichzeitige Auftreten von Tabakkonsum und Übergewicht bzw. Adipositas in seinen verschiedenen Ausprägungen sozialstrukturell geprägt ist und inwiefern die verschiedenen Kombinationen dieser Risikofaktoren mit dem Gesundheitszustand assoziiert sind. Auf Grundlage eines multinomial logistischen Modells zeigen sich starke Assoziationen der sozialstrukturellen Merkmale mit den kombinierten Risikofaktoren. Altersstandardisierte bedingte Mittelwerte zeigen zudem moderate negative Korrelationen im Zusammenhang zwischen kombinierten Risikofaktoren und Gesundheitszustand.
Abstract
Based on the micro-census 2009 this study investigates the relationship between socio-economic status and a combination of the risk factors smoking behaviour and overweight and furthermore the relation between those risk factor combinations and health status. Based on a multinomial logistic regression it is shown that the combined risk factors are strongly related to socio-economic status. Age standardised conditional means show, furthermore, that the relationship between the combination of smoking behaviour and overweight and health status is moderately negative.
