Ventilations-assoziierte Pneumonie (VAP) ist die häufigste nosokomiale Infektion auf Intensivstationen, die oft auf problematische Keime zurückgeht. Die Dauer der Antibiose ist allerdings von zahlreichen Faktoren abhängig. Kollef et al. verglichen 2 Carbapeneme in Protokollen von 7 und 10 Tagen.
