Summary
This article discusses the value of utilizing concepts of Jungian psychology in homeopathic practice. It explains how to use the symbolic language of the psyche appearing in dreams and myth to enrich the homeopathsʼ view of patients, and homeopathic remedies. Methods of dream analysis are outlined as well as their application in a case of Latrodectus mactans. Mythology connected with the symbolism of the spider enhances what is already known about the clinical application of spider remedies. The importance of integrating the use of the symbolic realm of Mythos, with the clarity of the logical mind Logos, is emphasized.
