Lokale Kombination von Dialyseshunt und Dialysekatheter – Mögliche Vorgehensweise in bestimmten Extremsituationen

Die lokale Kombination von einem autologen oder alloplastischen Dialyseshunt mit einem Dialysekatheter kann in bestimmten Extremsituationen Vorteile bringen. Hierbei wird die Spitze des Dialysekatheters nicht im, sondern am arteriovenösen Blutstrom platziert. Die Förderkapazität des Katheters ist bei gutem Shuntfluss problemlos. Eine thrombogene Platzierung des Katheters im durchströmten Lumen wird vermieden.

The local combination of an arteriovenous autologous or alloplastic shunt with a dialysis catheter can be of advantage in some situations. Thereby, the tip of a dialysis catheter is placed not in, but at the arteriovenous blood stream of the shuntvein, created in the same operation. The blood supply of the catheter in case of a sufficient shunt flow is excellent. The catheter is not placed within the venous bloodstream, thus avoiding venous thrombosis.
