In den letzten 15 Jahren sind neue medikamentöse Behandlungsmöglichkeiten der Rheumatoiden Arthritis entwickelt worden. Dank dieser Therapien ist heute bei einigen Patienten eine komplette Remission möglich. Entscheidend ist allerdings die möglichst frühe Diagnosestellung und eine exakte Differenzialdiagnostik.
