Fragmententfernung mit der Tube-Technik – Ein Fallbericht

Die Fraktur eines Instruments während der Wurzelkanalbehandlung gehört zu den gefürchteten Zwischenfällen und kann erhebliche Komplikationen nach sich ziehen. Der nachfolgende Bericht soll einen kurzen Überblick geben über mögliche Ursachen für eine Instrumentenfraktur und Strategien vorstellen zu deren Vermeidung. Anhand der Behandlung eines zweiten Unterkiefermolaren werden verschiedene Möglichkeiten zur Entfernung eines Instrumentenbruchstücks vorgestellt und die Vorgehensweise im konkreten Fall im Detail erläutert.
