Abstract

This review paper is dedicated to imaging of malignant orbital lesions in children. We reviewed pediatric primary malignant orbital lesions and metastatic disease from a known distant primary malignancy. The imaging features and clinical presentation of extraocular malignant masses are often nonspecific and overlap with each other and with benign lesions. We emphasized common and uncommon characteristics of malignant orbital masses and described the advantages and shortcomings of available imaging modalities.
