253 malades suspects de lesions focales pathologiques de différents organes ont été
examinés par scintigraphic de 67Ga. Après cet examen 200 processus pathologiques ont été vérifiés par l’histologie
ou par la bactériologie. Une fixation du 67Ga a été observée en 118 processus malignes et en 18 processus bénignes (spécifitée
diagnostique 87%). Un défaut de fixation a été observé en 47 processus bénignes et
en 18 processus malignes (sensitivitée diagnostique 73%). En quelques cas la scintigraphic
du 67Ga a révélé des tumeurs ou des métastases que n’auraient pas être reconnues par d’autres
moyens. Dans la plupart des processus; bénignes d’autres examens préopératoires ont
prouvé la bénignitée.
La scintigraphie du 67Ga, est considérée comme addition valuable à d’autres méthodes de détection de maladies
malignes.
Summary
253 patients suspected of focal pathological lesions in a number of organs were examined
by 67Ga scintigraphy. When all investigations had been concluded, 200 pathological lesions
had been verified by histological or bacteriological examination. Accumulation of
67Ga was observed in 118 malignant and 18 benign lesions (diagnostic specificity 87°/o)
and no accumulation in 47 benign and 18 malignant lesions (diagnostic sensitivity
73%). In a number of cases 67Ga scintigraphy revealed malignant tumours or metastases which had not otherwise been
discovered. In most cases of 67Ga accumulation in non-malignant lesions other preoperative
examinations proved that the lesions were benign.
67Ga scintigraphy will in many cases constitute a valuable supplement to the other methods
used for diagnosis of malignant diseases.
253 Patienten mit Verdacht auf pathologische Herdprozesse in verschiedenen Organen
wurden mittels 67Ga-Szintigraphie untersucht. Nach Abschluß aller Untersuchungen waren 200 pathologische
Prozesse histologisch oder bakteriologisch verifiziert. Eine Speicherung von 67Ga wurde in 118 bösartigen und 18 gutartigen Prozessen beobachtet (diagnostische Spezifität
87%), keine Speicherung bei 47 gutartigen und 18 bösartigen Prozessen (diagnostische
Empfindlichkeit 73%). Bei einer Anzahl von Fällen brachte die 67Ga-Szintigraphie maligne Tumoren oder Metastasen zum Vorschein, die sonst nicht erkannt
worden waren. Bei den meisten Fällen von 67Ga-Speicherung in gutartigen Prozessen bewiesen andere präoperative Untersuchungen
deren Benignität.
Die 67Ga-Szintigraphie wird in vielen Fällen eine wertvolle Ergänzung zu anderen Methoden
der Diagnose maligner Erkrankungen darstellen.
