This volume of Facial Plastic Surgery focuses on bony considerations in reconstructive surgery of the maxillofacial skeleton. We review osseous surgery as it pertains to midface and mandibular defects, including jaw in a day surgery, orthognathic surgery, distraction, and facial transplants. Orbitocranial deformities are also detailed. We have tried to put together some of the more difficult and uncommon reconstructions to perform with pearls to improve patient outcomes. We all enjoyed the collaboration putting this volume together and hope the reader of Facial Plastic Surgery will find it helpful in their practice.
