Die Knochenmarkpunktion

Zusammenfassung

Die Knochenmarkpunktion ist eine unverzichtbare Untersuchung im Bereich der Hämatologie und Onkologie. Sie dient vor allem zur Abklärung unklarer Blutbildveränderungen, aber auch der weiteren Risikostratifizierung und der Verlaufskontrollen hämatologischer Erkrankungen wie zum Beispiel der akuten Leukämien. Im vorliegenden Artikel wird das Vorgehen mit den möglichen Fallstricken und Problemen schrittweise beschrieben.

Abstract

Bone marrow examination plays an important role in the diagnosis of hematological and oncological diseases. Confirmation of a leukemia, clarification of cytopenias and risk stratification of a disease are possible indications for a bone marrow puncture.

Here we describe, step by step, the workflow, possible pitfalls and complications of this procedere.
