Zusammenfassung
Dieser Artikel zur Chirurgie des Larynx gibt einen Überblick über den derzeitigen Stand der Kehlkopfoperationen bei benignen Veränderungen ohne den Anspruch auf Vollständigkeit und mit Fokussierung auf die Facharztprüfung. Sie ist bei gutartigen Veränderungen eine in hohem Maße endoskopisch-mikroskopisch geprägte Chirurgie, die sich möglicherweise durch die Einführung neuer Instrumente und hochauflösender bildgebender Verfahren in den nächsten Jahren zunehmend von dem durch Kleinsasser geprägten mikrolaryngoskopischen Zugang entfernen wird. Durch die neuen flexiblen Endoskope wird eine neue Ära der sogenannten „office-based Chirurgie“ eingeläutet, die das ambulante Operieren häufiger als bisher ermöglicht. Weiterhin ist eine konsequente Aufklärung der Bevölkerung über die Stimmhygiene notwendig, um neue, auf funktionellen Ursachen basierende Erkrankungen erst gar nicht entstehen zu lassen.
Abstract
The present article gives an overview of the current state of laryngeal surgery of benign lesions without claiming completeness and with a focus on the ENT board exam. Laryngeal procedures are highly endoscopic and microscopic based. New instruments and high-resolution endoscopic imaging techniques may substitute the typical Kleinsasser approach in the near future. Additionally, new flexible endoscopes may initiate a new era of so-called “office-based surgery”. Furthermore, a consistent education of the public about performing vocal hygiene is necessary to prevent the rise of laryngeal diseases.
