Hitoshi Shibuya et al. Treatment of biliary strictures with fully covered self-expandable metal stents after pancreaticoduodenectomy
This study evaluated the safety and efficacy of fully covered selfexpandable metal stents for the treatment of bilioenteric anastomotic strictures after pancreaticoduodenectomy in 13 patients. After a 2-month dwell time, all strictures resolved and there were no recurrences during a median follow-up of 225 days. In addition, there were no adverse events.
