Lebertransplantation – Indikation und Allokation

Die Lebertransplantation (LTX) stellt heutzutage weltweit die Standardtherapie bei terminalen chronischen Lebererkrankungen und beim akuten Leberversagen dar. Der Schwerpunkt dieser Übersichtarbeit liegt im Bereich der Transplantationshepatologie. Der hier erscheinende erste Teil beleuchtet die Indikationsstellung und Evaluation zur LTX bei Erwachsenen, die aktuellen Organallokationsrichtlinien und die Betreuung von Patienten auf der Warteliste.
