Philipp-Alexander Neumann et al. Pre-emptive endoscopic vacuum therapy for treatment of „anastomotic ischemia after esophageal resections

This study reports on the use of endoscopic vacuum therapy (EVT) for treatment of anastomotic leakage due to ischemia in eight patients. EVT was successful in six patients (75 %) after a median duration of 16 days.
