CAD/CAM-gefertigte Einzelzahnrestaurationen: Empfehlungen zur Materialauswahl

Die Herstellung von Einzelzahnrestauration im digitalen Workflow kann heute mit einer vergleichbaren Präzision wie bei analoger Fertigung erfolgen. Aus der Vielzahl der zur Verfügung stehenden Materialien sind derzeit insbesondere monolithische und teilverblendete Zirkonoxidkeramiken sowie monolithische Restaurationen aus hochfesten Glaskeramiken durch klinische Studien abgesichert. Auch für die Hybridkeramik Vita Enamic liegen erste Daten aus klinischen Beobachtungen vor, die eine klinische Anwendung rechtfertigen. Die Gruppe der industriell polymerisierten Hochleistungskomposite ist vor allem für die Chairside-Anwendung interessant, bislang fehlen jedoch noch Daten, die Aussagen zur klinischen Bewährung erlauben.
