Enantioselective Construction of the C₁-C₁₆ Segment of Lasonolide A

Abstract

An efficient and enantiocontrolled synthesis of the C₁-C₁₆ segment of lasonolide A has been accomplished starting from a readily available optically pure aldehyde.
