Novel Group-Transfer Radical Reactions with Organotelluriums

Abstract
Organotellurium compounds serve as excellent precursors for carbon-centered radicals, which have significant synthetic utility ranging from the formation of highly functionalized small molecules to structurally well-defined macromolecules. This review focuses on the radical reactions of organotellurium compounds, with an emphasis on the new carbon-carbon bond formation reaction developed in the author’s laboratory.
