GIMFOT ist ein strukturiertes Behandlungsprotokoll, das mit acht Basistests eine umfassende Untersuchung und wirksame Behandlung erlaubt. Dazu werden Bewegungsparameter untersucht, um Rückschlüsse auf Kompensationen zu erhalten. Grundlage ist dabei die Eifelturmstruktur der Körperbereiche und die daraus resultierende Verteilung einwirkender Kräfte. An einem Fallbeispiel wird GIMFOT verdeutlicht.

Global integrated myofascial osteopathic therapy (GIMFOT)
GIMFOT is a structured treatment protocol, which makes an extensive examination and effective treatment possible on the basis of eight tests. With this, movement parameters are checked, in order to reach conclusions on compensatory mechanisms. The “Eiffel tower” structure of the body segments and the distribution of influencing forces, which result from this serve as a basis. GIMFOT is explained using the example of a case report.

GIMFOT, c’est un compte rendu de traitement structuré qui permet, sur la base de huit tests fondamentaux, un large examen médical et un traitement efficace. Pour cela, on contrôle les paramètres de mouvement afin de gagner des conclusions de compensations. Base est ici la structure « Tour Eiffel » de sections corporelles et la distribution des forces influantes qui en résulte. GIMFOT est illustré par un cas exemplaire.
