Der psychiatrische Normalbefund

Zusammenfassung

Die Dokumentation des psychiatrischen Normalbefundes ist in der ICD10 nicht vorgesehen. Dadurch ergibt sich in insbesondere im psychiatrischen Konsiliardienst, das praktische Problem, einen psychopathologisch unauffälligen Patienten adäquat zu klassifizieren. Das Ausweichen auf unspezifische Codes wird dem Patienten ebenso wenig gerecht wie der Verzicht auf eine Kodierung des Befundes. In künftigen Revisionen der ICD 10 sollte der psychiatrische Normalbefund berücksichtigt werden.

Summary

The documentation of the normal psychiatric interview has been omitted in the ICD 10 classification. Particularly, psychiatric consultants have to deal with the practical problem of adequate classification of patients with normal psychopathology. To use unspecific codes or to omit the coding of the findings are no suitable solutions. Future revision of the ICD 10 classification should integrate the normal psychiatric interview.
