Introduction
Although the occurrence of thymoma with other neoplasms is well described [[1]], there are very few cases of synchronous thymoma with pulmonary carcinoma documented in the literature. Previous reports have described resection of these synchronous lesions by median sternotomy followed by posterolateral thoracotomy [[2]]. This report describes the case of synchronous thymoma and right upper lobe (RUL) adenocarcinoma, both resected through a median sternotomy with the aid of video assisted thoracoscopic (VAT) guidance.
