Abstract
The cross-sectional research study investigated the extent to which patients with chronic low back pain express pain-related fear in physiotherapeutic and manual therapeutic primary practice, the differences in characteristics between patients with high and low scores in the Tampa scale for kinesiophobia as well as which questions of the scale could help to classify the concerned patients as “high scorer” or “low scorer”.
Patients with chronic low back pain often showed pain-related fear of (new) injury and movement. “High scorer” and “low scorer” differed significantly in view of the investigated criteria.
