Unfalltod eines türkischen Patienten und die Reaktionen des Umfeldes

Zusammenfassung

Geschildert wird ein Notarzteinsatz, bei dem ein junger türkischer Mann verstarb. Dessen Tod rief bei der Mutter und bei zwei Bekannten psychische Reaktionen hervor, die durch den Notarzt therapiert werden mussten. Tod und Trauer werden in der islamisch-türkischen Kultur intensiver erlebt, als bei uns. Da der Notarzt immer wieder mit Patienten aus der islamischen Welt konfrontiert wird, sollten auch medizinische Fortbildungen diesen Themenkomplex mit einschließen.

Abstract

Reported is of an emergency case with the death of a young Turkish man. His death has caused psychiatric diseases by the mother and by two of the relatives, that made treatment by the emergency physician necessary. Death and sadness will experienced more intensive in the Turkish-Islamic culture than we do. Because the emergency physician is getting again and again into contact with patients of the Islamic world, therefore the medical educations also should contain these subjects.
