Enge Beziehungen in Kindheit und Erwachsenenalter aus der Sicht der Strukturalen Analyse Sozialen Verhaltens (SASB) und der Bindungstheorie

Zusammenfassung

Zwei theoretische Ansätze zu interpersonalem Erleben und Verhalten werden empirisch in Beziehung zueinander gesetzt: die Strukturale Analyse Sozialen Verhaltens (SASB) und die Bindungstheorie. Betrachtet werden die wichtigsten Beziehungen im Lebenslauf: die Beziehungen zu Mutter und Vater in der Kindheit, die retrospektiv erfasst wurden, und die Partnerschaft im Erwachsenenalter. 93 ambulante Patienten einer psychosomatischen Klinik nahmen an der Studie teil. Zur Erfassung der SASB-Dimensionen Affiliation und Interdependenz und der Bindungsvariablen wurden Messinstrumente zur Selbsteinschätzung eingesetzt (Intrex-Kurzform, Kurzmessung der Bindung an die Eltern, Bochumer Bindungsfragebogen). Affiliation hing eng mit den Bindungen an die Mutter, den Vater und den Partner zusammen. Probanden, die als sicher an die Eltern gebunden klassifiziert wurden, schätzten die Affiliation höher ein als Probanden, die als ängstlich-ambivalent oder vermeidend klassifiziert wurden. Ebenso hing Affiliation negativ mit Vermeidung und Angst in der partnerschaftlichen Bindung zusammen. Interdependenz erwies sich hingegen als unabhängig von den Bindungsvariablen. Die Ergebnisse verweisen auf einen engen Zusammenhang zwischen der SASB-Dimension Affiliation und Bindungssicherheit.

Abstract

Two theoretical approaches to interpersonal experiences and behavior are empirically related to each other: Structural Analysis of Social Behavior (SASB) and attachment theory. The focus is on the most important relationships during life-span: relationships with mother and father in childhood, which were measured retrospectively, and romantic relationships in adulthood. 93 outpatients of a psychosomatic clinic took part in the study. Self-report measures were used to assess SASB-dimensions affiliation and autonomy and attachment variables (Intrex short form, Short measure of attachment to parents, Bochum Adult Attachment Questionnaire). Affiliation was strongly related to attachment to mother, father and romantic partner. Subjects classified as secure with respect to attachment to parents reported higher levels of affiliation than subjects classified as anxious or avoidant. Correspondingly, affiliation was negatively correlated with avoidance and anxiety in adult attachment to the romantic partner. On the other hand, autonomy was shown to be unrelated to attachment variables. Results indicate that the SASB-dimension affiliation and attachment security are closely associated.
