The discussion about the question of priority in the use of the forearm free flap in phalloplasty appears to have been settled, thanks to the information generously provided by both Dr. Ti-Sheng Chang (J Reconstr Microsurg 8:233, 1992 ) and Dr. Jian-Hua Gao (J Reconstr Microsurg 8:234, 1992 ).
