Zusammenfassung
Die wissenschaftliche Literatur diskutiert seit Jahren den Zusammenhang zwischen temporomandibulärer Dysfunktion (TMD) und Kopfhaltung kontrovers. Mithilfe einer Literaturrecherche wurden systematisch Studien gesichtet, die sich mit dieser Beziehung beschäftigten. Aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Methodik und vieler methodischer Defizite der gefundenen Untersuchungen ist die Korrelation nicht ausreichend wissenschaftlich fundiert und daher nur die Tendenz eines Zusammenhangs zwischen TMD und der Kopfhaltung festzustellen.
Abstract
In scientific literature the coherence between temporomandibular disorder (TMD) and head posture has been a matter of controversial debate for many years. A literature review discovered the studies dealing with this relationship. Due to the various approaches and many methodological deficits of the existing the studies the correlation are not scientifically founded. Therefore only a general tendency of a relationship between TMD and head posture can be observed.
