Die Rekonstruktion des äußeren Ohres

Zusammenfassung

Die wiederherstellende und ästhetische Chirurgie der Ohrmuschel ist inhaltlich wie historisch eines der abwechslungs- und facettenreichsten Schwerpunkte in unserem Fachgebiet. Verletzungen, Defekte und Fehlbildungen erfordern in Abhängigkeit ihrer Schwere ein spezielles und chirurgisch zum Teil sehr anspruchsvolles plastisch-chirurgisches Vorgehen. In unserem Beitrag möchten wir, vor allem auf der Basis unserer klinischen Erfahrungen, einen Überblick über die enorme Breite dieses vielschichtigen und methodenreichen und uns über viele Jahre faszinierenden Gebietes geben. Die Thematik erschöpfend und mit all ihren Details darzustellen, war uns in dem gegebenen Rahmen nicht möglich. Unser Beitrag kann daher keinesfalls ein Operationsmanual ersetzen. Besonders interessierte Leser möchten wir deshalb auf die angegebene Sekundärliteratur verweisen. Unsere Übersicht soll vielmehr jeden Fachkollegen in die Lage versetzen, seine Patienten kompetent zu beraten.
